Corn
Header "CornProfi evolution"
The Header (extension) for high-quality harvesting of maize offers the consumers:
High productivity
Zero losses
Ideal cleaning of the field from leaves and stalks.
Technical features:
While in operation, the header carefully picks the ears from the stalks and transports them only, to the combine harvester. The picking rollers lead the stalk to the knife of the chopper, located directly below, at a distance of 4 cm from the counter-knife. The high revolutions and the optimal interposition of the rollers and the chopper, guarantee the highest results, i.e. 95% of the stalks and leaves get chopped to pieces of less than 7 cm. The leaves and stalk mass so chopped, is strewn evenly over the field.
Only the chopping knife can be found below the picking rollers, while the drive and all mechanisms are at the same height as the rollers. This design feature allows for a low cut at the stalk, quality cleaning of the field and good harvesting rate for those maize varieties with a lowest ear set at a lesser height. The header can work in a horizontal position and even at an oblique angle, which makes for zero losses of ears at high operating speeds.
The header works steadily and retains its indices even under poor harvesting conditions, such as increased stalk moisture levels, grassy areas, tall and hardened stalks, and abundant leaf mass. The increased moisture levels or stalk thickness do in no way slow down or significantly deteriorate the header’s operation. The normal working speed is 9-11 kmph. Under normal conditions, the operating speed can be limited primarily by the crop yield per hectare and by the capacity of the combine harvester’s threshing system.
Such high results are possible thanks to the exceptional make-up of the operating sections, set as part of the header’s design.

We are very proud to find that our competitors’ latest developments fall short of reaching the Metalagro AD’s header’s indices in terms of:
Lowest stalk cut
Capacity to harvest varieties with lowest ear set at a smaller height
Best quality chopping of leaf and stalk mass
Best quality strewing of leaf and stalk mass over the field
Least amount of damage to the corn (practically zero) while picking the ear and conveying it to the combine harvester
Least amount of ear losses (practically zero)
Best maintaining of indices under poor harvesting conditions .
No hydraulics, no complex systems! We have avoided building in any automatic control systems, a main reduction gear, shaft drives, hydraulic clutches, centrally operated and automatic lubrication systems and any other unnecessary complications, with the aim to reduce weight and increase dependability. The machine is not suitable for careless operators – it requires some care and attention for 10 minutes a day, but it pays off with a top-quality harvest at dozens of hectares per day.
In order to meet all the requirements, it is produced in different modifications:
Suitable for all grain combine harvesters, regardless of model and year of production.
Number of rows: 4, 6, 8 or12, by special order-5 or10.
Standard row spacing – 70 cm, special order – 75 cm.
The only one of its kind on the market:
We offer a special opportunity to the smaller combine harvester owners to obtain superior productivity and top-quality harvesting of maize with a lightweight 4-row header, weighing 1600 kg.
